Counseling & Consulting for Students, Families, and Educators

School Doesn’t Have to Feel This Overwhelming

A dirt pathway through a tunnel of large, twisting trees with hanging moss, enclosed by white fences on both sides.

Professional counseling and consulting services for students, families, and educators who want to lighten the load—at home, in the classroom, and beyond.

With a Master’s in Education and five years of teaching experience, I know firsthand the difficulties school brings. I still remember one day as a teacher when I lost my temper with my students—and how the guilt followed me late into the night, long after the grading, lesson planning, family time, and emails were finished. I thought to myself: I can’t keep doing this on my own. I needed help.

Now, as a therapist, I sit with students and families every week who feel the same weight. They describe fatigue, anxiety, underperformance, relational conflict, and disappointment. And again, I hear the same refrain: We can’t keep doing this on our own.

Students, families, and educators need help—not shallow, one-size-fits-all advice from a Google search, but real, personalized support. School can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to stay that way.

I provide counseling for students and parents, as well as consulting and support for educators who want to respond wisely to what’s really going on beneath the surface—whether at home, in the classroom, on the field, or beyond. My work is rooted in insight, not judgment, shaped by a desire to see lasting change.

I live in Citrus County with my family, and I serve both local and remote mental health counseling clients through Foundation Counseling Center. I also serve as a substitute teacher for the Citrus County School District.
